The hike leads from St. Dionysius Church, which is a pillar church with a very beautiful Baroque altar and remarkable baptismal font that invites a visit, to Stemmel. Here you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view over the Brilon plateau and the Sauerland mountain world. The path now leads through meadows and fields along the forest track "Auf dem Scheid" to the west to the limestone hill "Schaaken". Here nearby is a disappearing stream, meaning a small stream disappears into the limestone and flows underground, reappearing at a completely different location, namely at the Alme springs. From here the path leads back to the village.
