Stage 09: Ratingen - Ratingen-Homberg

The recreational area Grüner See with a fitness trail and water sports facilities is the starting point of this section of the trail. The Schwarzbach quickly becomes our companion, and this will continue until the end of the stage. We hike along the southern edge of Ratingen and can enjoy views of the Ruhr area from the heights. We pass by riding stables, farm cafes, and even a beauty mill. But we always return to the Schwarzbachtal, pass under the A3 with this fish-rich stream by our side, and finally reach Homberg. The end of this stage with numerous rustic dining options awaits us at the Grevenmühle Golf Club.
