After a short stretch along Winterbergstraße and the ascending Kirchstraße, you reach the slope path "Schöne Aussicht" (Beautiful View). From here, you can let your gaze wander over the Weser Valley to Porta Westfalica.
The path continues over the wooded Ruschberg with old heath and moor areas. Along the way, you pass the grave of the Quaker Karl von Tschirsky on the Schröder farm and reach the shelter at the Saalegge ridge.
The path leads through fields and along the edge of the forest to Knickhaus, with the option of descending to the former Meisenhaus inn and the Vlotho spa park. Shortly after, you pass the Valdorf forest swimming pool. Along the pond facilities, you walk uphill, passing the school center back to the starting point. During this hike, you not only experience the diversity of nature but also discover historical and various cultural highlights.
