Tour Venekotensee and Dilborner Benden

The approximately 114,842m² large Venekotensee is located in a picturesque location in Niederkrüchten and was created as a result of gravel extraction in the Schwalmauen. The fully developed lake is not only a point of attraction for cyclists and walkers, but is also popular with anglers. Restaurants, accommodation options, as well as opportunities for tennis and horseback riding can be found in the southeastern shore areas.
This tour partly leads through the nature reserve Dilborner Benden along the Schwalm. With a bit of luck, various bird species living by the water can be discovered, or the works of beavers can be admired.
