The Wahner Heide with its sandy paths is one of the most extraordinary landscapes in the Sieg nature region. In addition to crossing the over 5,000 hectare large protected area, the low-gradient circular hike will mostly take you through the Lohmarer Wald. There you will encounter individual ponds and exciting marsh areas that provide a home for rare animal and plant species.
