Region Cologne-Bonn: Popular circular hiking trail
The trail starts at the Alfter cemetery, leads up towards the "Heimatblick" passing by the Jewish cemetery and the path of peace. The Alfter area is left there, the trail follows the Bornheimer Blutpfad to the LSV viewpoint tower "Fietzeks Weitsicht". Along the nature reserve "Quarzsandgrube" it goes to the "Hochzeitswiese". There the trail turns back towards Alfter. Through the nature reserve "An der Roisdorfer Hufebahn" it goes to the old Alfter castle. From there it is only a few meters to the viewpoint "Böhling". The tour ends with the return to the Alfter cemetery.
