Already the first meters are truly impressive: The varied route for young and old leads through a landscape that is not without reason called "In Paradise". Enjoy the paradisiacal surroundings and let nature take effect on you. After a short distance we reach the former waterworks, which today houses the forest and water museum. The way to Mühlenberg with its magnificent view is easy uphill, manageable for experienced strollers and hiking professionals. The path continues through the picturesque nature reserves Rinderbachtal and Vogelsangbachtal until just before the city limits of Essen. Here you can enjoy impressive views over the Ruhr area. Between fields and meadows, past old Honschaften and farms, it is a relaxed walk back to the starting point.
