The Barnimer Feldmark has many original or lovingly restored parks. They are easily accessible by bike and just a "stone's throw" away from Berlin. This tour includes a visit to the East Cemetery Ahrensfelde, which was created as a generous and nature-connected park at the beginning of the 20th century. It also goes to the Lenné Park in Blumberg, which was redesigned around 1826 according to designs by Peter Josef Lenné. From Blumberg, you cycle towards Seefeld to the Löhmer Haussee. Here, the old estate park with an old ginkgo tree and a second newly planted ginkgo tree can still be guessed. The tour continues from Helenenau to Börnicke. The castle in Börnicke is privately owned. The accessible castle park dreams of better times. However, the small children's farm can be visited here. The tour runs on well-developed cycle paths from Börnicke to the city center of Bernau. In addition to the well-preserved medieval fieldstone city wall, the historical ramparts run like a green belt around the city center. The entire tour is suitable for families as it mainly follows paved paths.
