Arrival and departure: Public transport to Elsterwerda station and from Dobelug-Kirchhain station.
The joyful bike tour starts in Elsterwerda. Leaving the city to the east along the Schwarzen Elster river, Elstermühle Plessa is reached in a few minutes (junction 9). Passing the industrial monument Plessa Power Plant with its 100m high chimneys, a Paltrock windmill, forests, and wide meadows, the impressive F60 Visitor Mine, also called the "lying Eiffel Tower", opens up. The Stuckatz inn invites you to a culinary meal afterwards (overnight stay possible).
From Dollenchen, the bike tour leads about 14km to Finsterwalde in the Sängerstadt. Through Bürgerheide and past the zoo, it continues via the Fürst-Pückler-Weg to Doberlug-Kirchhain.
Depending on your needs, a return from Finsterwalde is also possible.
