Around the Klüt

The landscape "behind the mountain" is diverse and varied and should be explored at leisure. Cyclists pass, among other things, the Gut Helpensen, whose walls tell history. In warm weather, a stop at the Halvestorf outdoor pool is worthwhile. A highlight with a completely different character is the Rittergut Schloss Schwöbber. It is not only one of the most significant Renaissance buildings of its time, but is also regionally known for its hotel, excellent cuisine, and adjacent golf course.

In contrast to the elaborately designed exterior of the Rittergut Schloss Schwöbber, cyclists can look forward to a "Back to Nature" project at the end of the route. Here, those interested can learn more about water protection and floodplain development along the Humme river. In Hameln and Aerzen, guests can expect several exciting sights that can be discovered during a longer stay. Even though the theme of this route is the circumnavigation of the Klüt, a detour to the summit of the mountain is still recommended. From the Klüt tower, there is a wonderful view over Hameln and the meandering course of the Weser river.
