The signposted hiking trail No. 7 is perfect for a long excursion. To get motivated, start with a refreshing walk in the Kneipp wading pool behind the thermal brine bath in Salzgitter-Bad. Then field and forest paths lead over the Schäferstuhl at the southeastern forest edge to Liebenburg. At the local forestry house, there are interesting information boards about fauna and flora. On the way back towards Salzgitter-Bad, you walk along the eastern side of the golf course. On busy days, you can observe many athletes in action here. Along the way, you will also see some of the artworks of the "Street of Peace" project.
