During this moderately difficult hike, you can stamp three stamps of the Harzer Wandernadel in your stamp pass and also take a beautiful tour through the Harz forests. You start at the Hammerschmiede/ Hercynian Distilling Co. Then you continue along the Elsbach until you reach the Stepmother (stamp 64), then further to the Pregnant Maiden and the Wendeleiche (stamp 165). After the second stamp, you walk past the Zankecke and the long mountain to the stamping point Roter Schuß (stamp 90). From here, the path leads over the Wegspinne and the Kuhtalskopf/Pfaffenborn back to the Stepmother. From there, the return path is the same as the outbound path. According to the tour schedule, the return path via the special stamp "Zweiländereiche" is recommended.
