Follow in the footsteps of the master of German classical literature on the path named after him between Altenau via Torfhaus all the way up to the Brocken. The path is a total of 16.3km long. From Altenau to Torfhaus it is 8.7km, and from Torfhaus to the Brocken 7.6km. Goethe managed to complete this path in the middle of winter in just one day. Pack your backpack, put on your hiking shoes, and follow in the footsteps of the master.
