Lübbesee is a big natural groundwater lake that resembles a river. The almost 300 hectare big lake has a length of about 12 kilometres and stretches past Templin, Ahrensdorf and Petersdorf and on to Ahlimbsmühle. The northern shore is connected to the Templin Seenkreuz.
