Theodor Fontane

Ideal for experienced cyclists who love diverse nature, the tour starts at the "Theodor Fontane Cycle Path" at the regional train station in Werneuchen. Always following the marking "TF", the route leads via Wegendorf to Altlandsberg, where a little detour to the historic city center is worthwhile! After a short break, the path continues past wide fields and through shady mixed forests to Gielsdorf and Wesendahl. Coming from the north, you pass the city limits of Strausberg and continue following the marking "TF" along the Straussee shore in a southern direction and further to Rehfelde. From here on, it becomes more challenging, as the last leg of the route leads into the Märkische Schweiz. Through Garzau-Garzin, the path goes through hilly terrain to Buckow, where numerous dining options and the Schermützelsee invite you to refresh.
