In the nature reserve Lüsekamp you will encounter wet and dry heaths, natural forest communities, species-rich grassland zones as well as uncontaminated, nutrient-poor waters. The nature reserve Lüsekamp is located on the Dutch border between Roermond and Niederkrüchten. On the Dutch side, the nature reserve directly borders the National Park De Meinweg. Characteristic of the Lüsekamp is the transition from higher dry elevated terraces with heaths and forest stands of beeches and pines to the moist birch swamp forests and bog moors. Here you can also find sandy grasslands and wet heaths where the moorland sheep herds graze.
