Hahnenkleer Mountain Trail

Easy circular tour in classic style.

Description

You can start your round at the parking lot at the holiday park (Triftstraße) or at the end of Lautenthaler Straße (here, please turn right at the end of the street).

From the holiday park, go straight down a small hill and then sharply to the left. The trail then gently descends towards Schlackenweg. Follow this with some curves and then meet the Hahnenkleer Bergstraße again. Here you have the option to turn sharply left back to the holiday park or continue straight ahead and meet Lautenthaler Straße.

You can extend the round by turning right at the curve on Schulberg Loipe at Schlackenweg. This circular course then meets the Hahnenkleer Bergloipe again.

DSV Premium Trail

This trail is a certified DSV Premium Trail. Together with municipalities in the West Harz region and the districts of Goslar and Osterode am Harz, the Ski Safety Foundation (SIS) and the German Ski Association (DSV) have been working in recent years for a qualitative development of the trail network in the Harz region. The trails have been certified as DSV nordic aktiv centers according to international criteria, signposted with a uniform system, and equipped with information boards.
