Parking lot at Winterbergtor - Yellow Path - Sandbrinkstraße - Toter Weg - Schwarze Brücke - 400m steep ascent, Kolonnenweg left to the large Winterberg (907m above sea level).

Connection to the cross-country ski trails in the West Harz - to Schierke via hiking trail D 18 (length 12.5 km)

DSV Premium Cross-Country Ski Trail
This trail is a certified DSV Premium Cross-Country Ski Trail. Together with the officials in Schierke, the Stiftung Sicherheit im Skisport (SIS) and the German Ski Association (DSV) have worked in recent years for a qualitative development of the cross-country ski network in the Harz region. The trails have been certified as DSV nordic aktiv centers according to international criteria, signposted with a uniform system, and equipped with information boards.

The town center with the tourist information is accessible via a pedestrian bridge. Entry to the cross-country ski trails and hiking trails (National Park, Brocken) directly at the parking garage. Bus stop directly at the entrance/exit to the parking garage.
