A scenically diverse route is offered by the walking trail A1 over approximately 6.5 km around Heidelbeck: Starting on Kurstraße, it leads south towards Asendorf with a view of expansive rhubarb fields. The further course leads through the forest towards Osterberg/Lange Wand. A detour up to the "Family Place" is worthwhile, as the ascent is rewarded with a fantastic view and a seating area for a rest.
