A walk with many facets - The theme trail BlickWinkel takes you through the charming districts of the Osterräderstadt Lügde. You hike along natural paths and enjoy magnificent views over the Lipper Bergland.

Cozy benches and landscape loungers invite you to take a break again and again, and in addition, you will learn about mystical stories, interesting facts about natural peculiarities, or historical events on the lovingly designed bench backs. Did you know, for example, that the kingfisher and the black stork are native to the small river Niese, or that there is an old apple variety named after the town of Biesterfeld? Also fascinating is the history of the old brickworks Paenbruch, which shaped the economic life of the surrounding villages for many decades.

A special highlight awaits you on the section between Elbrinxen and Rischenau. There stands the Nature Book, an outdoor book with stories and poetry about nature. Sometimes humorous, sometimes pensive or atmospheric: The book is full of nature poems and stories, compiled by nature lovers from the region.

The total length of the trail is around 36 km. However, it can also be hiked in several stages. For this purpose, five different routes, named from B1 to B5, have been created.
