Many surprises are waiting to be discovered along the wayside. Treat yourself to a rest at exclusive resting places in between. Have fun!

The first part of the way promises you pure nature. From Halle, you will walk along the Egge through a magnificent beech forest, where you will find traces of the East Westphalian mining industry. You will pass the Jewish cemetery and reach Werther. A visit to the Böckstiegel-Haus or the Storck-Haus is worthwhile there. Towards Steinhagen, untouched nature, diverse history, fascinating art, and significant industry await you. First, you can discover the industrial monument Knochenmühle. At the Arminiusquelle, you will reach the rest area "Riechen". The path leads past the Kaiser-Friedrich-Gedächtnishütte, a shelter that is often referred to as Schwedenschanze ("Swedish trench") by locals. The Schwedenschanze is located on the Bußberg of the Teutoburg Forest at an altitude of 306.2 m. After the descent, you will reach Steinhagen. After a detour to the Historical Museum, the rest area "Schmecken" invites you to linger just behind Steinhagen. From Jakobsberg, you hike to Gottesberg, and the panoramic view of the land can be seen from the ridge path of the Hengeberg. Shortly before Halle, you will reach the Kaffeemühle, an enticing viewpoint. Back in Halle, you can visit the Haller Willem monument and the museum for childhood and youth works of significant artists.
