The route starts at the hiking car park in Odenthal. From here, follow the sign "Hexe". The first destination is the Hexenbrunnen in the Odenthal village center. The stations of the witch trial are depicted on the edge of the well. Then it goes up to Glöbusch. There is now a playground on a meadow at the village exit. According to the old legends, witches used to meet there to celebrate the witches' sabbath. Just past Blecher is the road Eichenplätzchen, where the witches are said to have gathered for a dance. Through the forest, it goes down into the Eifgental and further to the German Fairytale Forest, where there is no shortage of witches and magic. The path continues through the Dhünnaue and back to Odenthal.
