Time travel

If one starts the hike at the Lennefetal entrance of the open-air museum, where the historical peasant-craft culture of the Bergisches Land is showcased, one reaches the park grounds of Heiligenhoven Castle via forest paths. The former castle of the Barons of Fürstenberg consists of a forecourt and a mansion surrounded by moats dating back to 1758 to 1760. One now transitions from the "past" to the "present", which is experienced in the amusement park with numerous offerings such as mini-golf, the park pool, and a fitness studio with a bistro. Arriving at the marketplace, one is now precisely "at the cutting edge". Following the Heidenstraße pilgrimage path, which is part of the Way of St. James and represents an important army and trade route from Leipzig to Cologne, one passes by the youth hostel at the southern edge of the Klause industrial park. A variety of modern commercial enterprises and the "Sportpalast" represent the "future". The path leads past the ecumenical Creation Chapel in Remshagen towards :metabolon- the competence, learning, and innovation site for material conversion and location-based environmental technology and techniques. The leisure offer with the viewing platform on the Kegelspitze and the 110 m long double slide make for a worthwhile detour. The return journey of the time travel is made via the Panoramasteig.

Additionally, there is the option to reach the starting point from Remshagen using public transportation.
