You start the tour at the hiking portal at the Wood and Tourism Center. From there, turn left, cross the square in front of the Hit supermarket, and turn left again onto the main street. At the traffic lights, cross Wormbacher Straße and follow the road towards Wormbach until the fork after a pedestrian crossing. After turning right into the settlement, follow hiking trail X 23 further, past the "Dicken Linde", the Moon Pointer, down to B55. There, walk a bit to the right along the road to the pedestrian crossing, where you cross the street. From there, head up to the small town of Bad Fredeburg with beautiful half-timbered houses and dining options.
