Vildische-Grund-Tour

The tour starts in Medebach. As with the Medebachrunde, we reach the L858 and turn right. We continue towards the mountains. In the center of the village, we follow the M6 towards Dreislar. Heavy spar used to be mined here. The Heavy Spar Museum offers visitors a journey of discovery to the fascinating crystals from the underworld. Sounds, images, colors, and lights enable immersion in mining and geology.
Now the tour continues through the beautiful Orketal valley. In Medelon, we briefly leave the M6 and follow the L617 to the Orketal car park. Following the forest path leads back to the M6. Through the "Vildische Grund," we head to the Winterberg district of Elkeringhausen.
Shortly before Küstelberg, we reach the source of the Orke. We stay on the M6 until just past Oberschledorn, but instead of turning towards Aartal, we briefly stay on the L854. Then we turn right onto the M4 and back to the starting point in Medebach.
