Bike Arena Sauerland - Rothaargebirge & Medebacher Bucht

After starting in Winterberg, a long descent past the Großer Bilchen and down the beautiful Sorpe Valley awaits from Altastenberg. Through Grafschaft and Fleckenberg, you reach the long and serpentine-filled ascent over the Rothaargebirge into the Eder Valley. We follow this for a few kilometers flat until Bad Berleburg. A short detour into the Wittgensteiner Land brings us back to the Sauerland. From Hallenberg, we slowly advance into the Medebacher Bucht: the landscape becomes increasingly open and milder. After Berge, there is a long ascent to the Schlossberg near Küstelberg. In total, around 370 meters in altitude need to be conquered. The destination is within reach, but before we can recover from the tour in Winterberg, there is still a short detour over Grönebach.
