It is about unmarked, cozy tours that lead through our beautiful, varied landscape. Of course, if you want to discover something in nature, you have to venture into nature. And so many paths are close to nature: there may be a muddy spot or a tractor has just passed by. Because you share these paths with our farmers, foresters, and riders.
But if you embark on the journey - pardon, the six journeys - you will discover a lot of beautiful things. What are you waiting for? By the way, you can easily reach five of the six paths with the Regio-S-Bahn.
Tour 4:
Here too, Langwedel station is the starting point. Drive a short distance along Langwedeler Bahnhofstraße, turn left towards Häuslingshaus and Burgbad. Cycle along Große Strasse, turn left at Goldbach into the vast Wesermarsch, passing by Spiridonstein. At the next but one crossroads, keep left, turn right into Eisseler Straße and turn left through Radewiesen towards Dauelser Bruch. Here you will come across a small alder - riparian forest. Such forests have become very rare nowadays; here it is also damp and cool even in the hottest summer.
Keep left, and after a short distance, you will come to Mühlenteich, formed by sand extraction. Meanwhile, it has developed into an idyllic spot of earth. Cross the railway to the right, turn towards Förth. On your right runs the "Amerikalinie", where in the past emigrants from the poor eastern provinces traveled to Bremen and Bremerhaven. After World War II, refugee families were settled in Förth, which can still be seen today; there is also an information board here. From Nindorf, follow the forest path along the "Amerikalinie".
In Dauelsen, turn left and cross over the highway to Holtebüttel. Here, somewhat hidden, is the open-air stage. In the "Nassen Straße", you can admire Christmas trees all year round. Finally, you will return to Langwedel via Dahlbrügge.
You can also find Langwedel's treasure hunt tour 4 on Komoot.
