In the middle of Weyhe

We walk along the paved path into the little forest towards Hof Rumpsfeld, then take the first opportunity to the left and follow the path at the edge of the forest. We pass the natural gas station and continue until we reach a small residential street called "Holzweg". We turn left into the "Rumpsfelder Heide" and leave two residential streets to the left.

Finally, we reach "Zur großen Riede", follow this street and thus reach the starting point. It is astonishing that today, in the middle of Weyhe, the small forest (privately owned) near Hof Rumpsfeld has been preserved. The former American Secretary of State "Donald Rumsfeld" is incidentally related to this family. It is also interesting that the path leads through the grounds of a farmstead. Additionally, we once again encounter Weyhe's natural resources: We pass by two natural gas stations. The path can be extended by initially following the foot and cycle path towards the town hall. At the first opportunity, turn left into the connecting path to the "Rumpsfelder Heide".
