Forest nature trail route

The forest nature trail was set up by the Borkumer hunting association and offers a lot of interesting information about the flora and fauna of the island. Of course, we also start our way here again at the tourist information.
Via Hindenburgstraße and Barbaraweg, walk or drive towards Ostland. In Ostfriesenstraße, turn left at the big intersection and after a short time, follow the pedestrian path on the right side. Now you are on the forest nature trail and the destination is the Emmich Memorial at the nudist beach parking lot. From there, you can take the same path back or take a nice round trip through the dunes and the Waterdellen circular path along the promenade back to the town center. Alternatively, a bus of the Borkum small railway departs from the nudist beach parking lot.
