Weser Heights (Bw 5)

From the parking lot, we cross the Münchhausenplatz street and Pollerstraße street towards the summer toboggan run. At the level of the summer toboggan run, we then walk up the mountain to the "Vier Linden" on the "NaturErlebnisPfad Hopfenberg" on the right. This path contains information boards about the habitat "deciduous forest" and its inhabitants. We continue hiking to the Krähenhütte, where we are rewarded with a beautiful view of the Weser Valley towards Rühle. We continue on and before we take the path to the upper trail of Hopfenberg, we have another beautiful view of the Weser Valley. Once we reach the Hopfenberg, we turn right onto the paved forest path towards Piesekopf and Bodenwerder. At the next shelter, we have a view all the way to Emmerthal. Continuing towards Bodenwerder, just before Bodenwerder, we have a wide view of the landscape. We then see the first houses of Bodenwerder. The path now leads us along the top of Hakenberg to the "Hopfenberg" nature trail. At the information board, we turn right until we reach the summer toboggan run, where we turn left again to return to our starting point.
