Weser Cycle Path, 5th Stage: From Nienburg to Verden

From Nienburg, the Weser Cycle Path leads you past the harbor over the Weser Bridge to Drakenburg. Passing the ship pier, the journey continues through Marklohe to Drakenburg. In Drakenburg, the old town with the Weser Renaissance arch and the St. John the Baptist Church are of importance. The journey continues along the Weser towards Eystrup and Hoya. Crossing the Weser ferry Schweringen-Gandesbergen, the route switches back to the left bank of the Weser and leads through Bücken, Hoya, and Dörverden. In Dörverden, the church and the Gallery-Dutch windmill are enticing. Continuing along the Weser, you cycle on to Magelsen and Oiste towards your stage destination, the equestrian town of Verden. Please note: Due to a construction site, the Weser Cycle Path is redirected behind Wienbergen to Magelsen and before Dahlhausen. The diversion is signposted and stored in the system here.
