SamBa-Tour 3

The tour starts at Bardowicker Dom and leads towards the train station. Now you drive towards Vögelsen via the Landwehr on the former railway embankment of the "Buchholzer Bahn" through a rural idyll to the equestrian town of Mechtersen. You leave the village on a paved path through fields and meadows towards Radbruch. From here, the tour continues to Rottorf in the neighboring district of Harburg. You follow the path through the fields and reach the Ilmenau Canal. Upon arrival, you cross the old wooden bridge and reach Fahrenholz. Along the Neetze River, the path now leads to Oldershausen, a place known for its beautiful thatched and well-preserved farmhouses. You then drive towards Horburg on a well-developed route through fields and meadows. Passing by Barumer See with its beautiful sandy beaches, you reach the heath village of St. Dionys, with its impressive church and a beautifully landscaped golf course. You continue on this route and return to Bardowick.
