Arnsberger Heights Trail

This almost 32 km long circular tour is more suitable for experienced hikers. The ideal starting and ending point of the hike is the hiking parking lot in Mühlbachctal in the district of Arnsberg-Rumbeck. Follow the trail marker first towards Poesiepfad and further to Hellefelder Höhe. Passing by "Hubertus Pöstchen" you will reach the hiking parking lot Ochsenkopf. From there, follow the trail markers through dense forest and areas with wonderful views until you reach the district of Arnsberg-Wennigloh. The tour now partially runs parallel to the hiking trail "Kurfürstlicher Thiergarten" (AR1) via "Kapune". The next destination is the district of Obereimer, the former manor. From here, the path runs along the Ruhr river, then through the Berbketal to the hiking parking lot Bocckstation. From here, continue towards Oeventrop and back to the starting point at Poesiepfad in Mühlbachtal.
