From the starting point at the free parking lot of the Zoo in Wingst, the path leads you past the German Olympus with its eponymous observation tower. It goes from east to west through the Wingster Forest, past the Heidkamp and Schwedenfeld railways to Westerhamm. From there, the hiking trail leads you across open fields or along the edge of the forest, first to Süderbusch and then into the Balksee Nature Reserve and Randmoore. Here you can also discover a part of the dense network of hedge rows in the western part of the Wingst. Afterwards, you return past Silberberg and the stone grave to the starting point.
