The signposted hiking trail No. 6 is perfect for a long excursion. For motivation, it is best to start with a refreshing walk in the Kneipp wading pool behind the thermal brine bath Salzgitter-Bad. Then field and forest paths lead through the Südholz to Straute near Liebenburg. At the local forester's lodge, there are interesting information boards about the fauna and flora. Heading back towards Salzgitter-Bad, you go east of the golf course. On busy days, you can watch many athletes in action here. Along the way, you will also see some of the artworks from the "Street of Peace" project.
