The starting point of the fourth stage of the Hohe Mark RadRoute is Dülmen, where cyclists encounter wonderful natural spaces and bodies of water. The tour begins with a ride through the magnificent Heubachniederung bird sanctuary to reach Sythen Castle, which is worth a short stop. Then, just a few minutes south, the breathtaking Haltern Reservoir presents itself with many resting places.
Continue along the Stever until you reach the clear Hullerner Stausee. The Alte Postweg then leads to the Steverauen nature reserve, where various bird species, conic horses and Heck cattle can be observed from the cycle path. After a total distance of just under 29 kilometres, you will finally reach Olfen, the stage destination for today.
