MI-Porta-Westfalica: Star tour 5

Your tour starts at the Tourist Information in Minden, where you have the opportunity to equip yourself with maps for this and other tours in the Minden region. The journey begins towards Glacis - Minden's so-called Green Lung and takes you along the Weser Cycle Path past the Ship Mill, the summer pool, and a military area. You continue to follow the signs towards Porta Westfalica. Your route takes you past a tennis court, where you take the next exit onto Aulhausener Weg. You now turn left into Alte Poststraße and immediately right into Lannertstraße. Now gather speed on Portastraße, as it starts going uphill from here. The winding Kaiserstraße leads you to your destination: The Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial.

From up here, you have a wonderful view of the entire surroundings.
