The tour starts in the center of Eslohe. At the beginning, we follow the beautiful valley of the Salwey. The tour slowly and steadily leads uphill from the "Örtchen" Kuckuck, the namesake of the tour. Approximately 230 meters in altitude have to be overcome until Röhrenspring. Then it goes downhill into the Fretter valley. From Fretter, there is enough time to recover, as the return to Eslohe follows the Sauerland cycle path.
