Flora, fauna and quiet moments
The Ried lies between Bodman and Ludwigshafen: a beautiful nature reserve that extends over 130 hectares and provides shelter for numerous breeding and resting birds. A gem with unique views. Along the adjacent litter meadows, you can also discover endangered plant species such as the Siberian iris with its deep purple flowers. The idyllic circular trail through the nature reserve is a wonderful way to switch off from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
You can learn interesting facts about the nature reserve and its animal and plant inhabitants at ten stations and a platform.
