Moderate circular tour in the area around Altenau.
The tour starts at the Schultal parking lot in the center of Altenau. Opposite the parking lot is the turnoff to the road "An der Bornkappe."
Walk uphill on this road for about 50 m and then turn left onto the forest road, the "Wellner Weg." Follow the "Wellner Weg" for approximately 3.5 km. Then turn left and head towards Kellwassertal, Okertalsperre. After about 3 km, you will reach a junction, where you should keep left. After about 1.5 km, you will reach another fork in the road. From here, please turn right downhill towards Hüttenstraße. Walk up Hüttenstraße to the center (roundabout). Turning right, you will reach the Schultal parking lot.
