The Kreuzberg cross-country ski trail starts at Taternplatz just above Bad Grund on the Harzhochstraße towards Clausthal-Zellerfeld.
From here, a diverse cross-country skiing area opens up on both sides of the Harzhochstraße. Please use the large parking lot on the left side for parking.
On the right side, you can walk to Kaysereiche on the left and back over Gewitterplatz. Orient yourself by the overall map at the start, which is also set up at Taternplatz. You can also find it on our homepage at www.bad-grund.de under "Grundinchen informiert" as a PDF for download. At the end of the parking lot in an easterly direction, you will find the connection to the Iberg trail to the Hasenberg trail, which leads to Wildemann. This in turn connects to the Bromberg trail, which leads to Sternplatz above Seesen.
The large Kreuzberg trail (red) has a circular route with a length of 7.51 km and moves at an altitude between 503 and 597 meters. The small trail (blue) is 5.8 km long. Here you have to overcome 93 meters in altitude. When there is enough snow, the trail is groomed with a double-track device. It corresponds to a medium difficulty level.
Towards Bad Grund on the valley side, the ski touring trail connects, which leads to Bad Grund. It also serves as a starting route from Bad Grund. When there is enough snow, this trail is also groomed.
The Kreuzberg trail is one of the 4 trails between Bad Grund, Wildemann, and Seesen with a total network of 27.8 km. The starting point for the four medium-difficulty cross-country skiing trails is Taternplatz (about 15 minutes from the Seesen motorway exit), which is located exactly between Bad Grund and Wildemann on the Harzhochstraße. The trails are located at an altitude between 450 and 597 m. To the west, the Kreuzberg trail is in two different lengths, the Iberg trail connects in a northerly direction the Kreuzberg trail with the Hasenberg trail.
