Also, some cultural highlights await you on this route:
Fountain Temple: It stands in the middle of the Historical Spa Park in Bad Meinberg. The park was laid out as a baroque facility around 1770. The Fountain Temple was built in 1842. It is the landmark of Bad Meinberg and can also be found on the city's coat of arms.
Moor Treading Basin: The treading basin is publicly accessible and is located in the nature reserve "Norderteich with Naptetal". It can be moistened with a hand pump and then the fun begins.
Hist. Old Town Horn: Striking buildings and beautiful half-timbered houses remind of old times, when Horn Castle still served temporarily as the residence of the Lippe Count. Worth seeing here are the monument on the market square, the town hall, the remains of the city wall, and of course the castle.
Externsteine: A group of thirteen sandstone rocks, washed out by the Wiembecke. A relief depicting the Descent from the Cross of Christ was carved into the wall of the main rock.
