This challenging circular tour leads north out of Brilon. Along the Almeradweg, there is now a first gentler ascent. Shortly before the village of Alme, you reach the source of the Alme. The tour now leads in a long descent through the village.
Cycling through beautiful nature, you pass through the Almetal and near the village of Harth you reach the nostalgic Ringelstein train station. Until 2014, railway enthusiasts could enjoy the railway romance here. Unfortunately, the forest railway is now inactive.
Next, the route continues through the idyllic Ringelsteiner forest to Siddinghausen. There is the turning point of your tour. You leave the Almeradweg and follow the Kaiser Route uphill towards the south, before descending again through the Meisterwald. You reach the B 516 and follow the cycle path R 47 back to Brilon on a flat ascent.
