SauerlandRadring for families - the Hennesee loop

The Hennesee loop of the SauerlandRadring takes you from the starting point in Meschede first along the Ruhr to Wennemen.
You cycle on former railway tracks through the picturesque Wennetal and the typical low mountain landscape of the Sauerland to Eslohe. The tour leads back to Meschede via the villages of Bremke and Reiste, passing by the Hennesee and the Himmelstreppe.
At the Hennesee, cyclists have the opportunity to refresh themselves at or in the lake, but a boat trip also invites relaxation. This can also be used to shorten the route along the banks of the Hennesee.
Along the route, there are a variety of playgrounds and attractions for young and old. These include the DampfLandLeute Museum in Eslohe or bathing bays at the Hennesee.
Even back in Meschede, there is still much to discover for children on the ride through the Hennepark to the city center via Hennebouevard.
