A6 - Hike to Opmünden

The approximately 10 km long circular route A 6 starts at the town hall of Bad Sassendorf and leads in a southerly direction out of the village into the open countryside with wide views over the Haar and through the small Bad Sassendorf district of Opmünden.
On the way back, it goes in a northerly direction through the fields past the "Lohner Klei", a former British barracks site.
On the outward and return journey, the L856 (formerly B1), the former trade route Hellweg, is crossed.
Path condition: asphalted farm roads;
