The northern course of the 100 Castles Route delights cyclists with magnificent nature and extraordinary buildings. In the very north of Münsterland, the Münsterland park landscape is more varied than anywhere else in the region - the Ems meanders through the flat meadows and the Teutoburg Forest shapes the landscape with its elevations. On the circular route from Münster via Bad Bentheim, Rheine and Tecklenburg, there is plenty to experience and discover - from the park landscape to the balcony of the Münsterland. Special highlights along the route are Hülshoff Castle, Bentlage Monastery and the double castle complex of Harkotten.
