For this stage on the Harzer Klosterweg, you should plan about 45 min. You walk through typical Harz mixed forest, past several ponds that testify to the former fish farming of the monasteries. The signage begins in front of the gate/archway/entrance to Kloster Ilsenburg, marked with a dark red cross. For your return journey, we recommend the use of public bus lines. Guests can travel free of charge with the HATIX ticket.
