Description

From the parking lot, first go to the Richard-Böhm-Straße opposite to the intersection at the church.

Turn right here onto "Auf der Höhe" street and please follow the signs to the cross-country ski trail from here. The entrance to the trail starts behind the last two houses, from here it leads past the cross-country ski station towards Köte. From Köte, walk along the Hasselfelder Weg until you reach the junction for Alte Talskopfhütte.

Then turn left towards Riesenbachskopf and continue to the Goslar border, where you turn right along the Goslar border to Bormanns Platz and then right towards Drei Brunnen. From there, continue towards Alte Talskopfhütte and back along Hasselfelder Weg to Köte. From Köte, pass by the cross-country ski station again to the entrance "Auf der Höhe". Please walk back to the parking lot from here.

This trail is a certified DSV Premium Trail. 
Together with municipalities in the West Harz region and the districts of Goslar and Osterode am Harz, the Ski Safety Foundation (SIS) and the German Ski Association (DSV) have worked in recent years for a qualitative development of the trail network in the Harz region. The trails have been certified as DSV nordic aktiv centers according to international criteria, signposted with a uniform system, and equipped with information boards.
