Hasenbergloipe -> Hasenberg trail

Short description

Medium-difficulty cross-country ski trail with connection to the ski hiking trail to "Schweinebraten" and the Kreuzbergloipe in Bad Grund.

Description

Initially, there is a slight ascent on a forest road in the Gitteldschen valley up to the former wildlife feeding area, then we climb up to the right towards the pavilion at Hasenberg.

We continue to the right along the Silberkammerweg to the Keller, where the ascent to Moltke's lookout tower begins in a left turn. From here, we gently ride over the weather station to the Spinne, then to the left along the Quellenweg to the Silberkammerweg and over the Gallenberg back to the Gitteldsche valley.

From the Spinne, a ski hiking trail leads to Schweinebraten. At Schweinebraten, take the connecting trail (Ibergloipe) to the Kreuzbergloipe in Bad Grund (20 km).

The Hasenbergloipe is one of the 4 trails between Wildemann, Bad Grund, and Seesen with a total network of 27.8 km. The starting point of the 4 cross-country ski trails of medium difficulty is the Taternplatz (about 15 minutes from the Seesen motorway exit), which is located exactly between Bad Grund and Wildemann on the Harzhochstraße. The trails are located at an altitude between 450 and 597 m. To the west, the Kreuzberg-Loipe is available in two different lengths, the Iberg-Loipe connects in a northerly direction the Kreuzberg-Loipe with the Hasenberg-Loipe.

DSV Premium Trail
This trail is a certified DSV Premium Trail. Together with municipalities in the West Harz and the districts of Goslar and Osterode am Harz, the Safety in Skiing Foundation (SIS) and the German Ski Association (DSV) have been working in recent years for a qualitative development of the trail network in the Harz region. The trails have been certified as DSV Nordic Active Centers according to international criteria, signposted with a uniform system, and equipped with information boards.
