On the day tour to the highest peak in the national park, we cross three typical forest communities at different altitudes: the spruce forest, the mixed mountain forest and the mountain spruce forest. The Rachel summit with its magnificent views, the idyllic Rachelsee lake and the impressive Föhraufilz high moor are the highlights of this tour.
